We had the Charlie bag. I loved it for newborn days when I was carrying a bunch of stuff but stopped using it after that. I do, however, still use it everytime fly and love it!

These are all great things to think about. I actually need a new purse so maybe my DH will be ok with me getting both...

@Banana330: if you end up getting the ika just know it takes a while for her to make it and then to ship it! :-)

I've put away my ika for now because I wanted to try something new, and LO is older now....I'm using a Kipling bag and I really really like it...lots of styles, a zippered top, lots of pockets, washable.... Something to consider!

@snowjewelz: It's a bit bulky, but not really heavy...it hung nicely on my stroller or fit in the basket pretty easily.

@Mrs. Twine: Yes, yes, yes! We do smaller bags for different "collections" of stuff, either using ziploc or wet bags that we have. Makes finding things sooo much easier when you're out and about. I do the same thing in my purse (DH's stuff in a bag, my candies, gum, kleenex in another bag, etc.).

I really like that Ika bag. It looks big enough, and looks very functional and classy. And many of them look very gender-neutral, which is nice. It would probably be a useful outing bag well after the baby stage. The other bag you were eyeing looks good for CD, too. Another thing we really like doing since we cloth diaper is to use smaller bags to help organize. It helps me more easily find things, and makes it easier to just take what we need. We have a bag that holds a change of clothes; one that holds first aid supplies, sunscreen, chapstick, band-aids, diaper cream, etc.; one that holds dry diapers; a wet bag; a bag for busy stuff like crayons and small toys and modeling wax in case we get stuck somewhere or have to wait; a lunchbox; a bag that holds a wrap or SSC. Depending on what we're doing we might take just one or two of those, or we might take all. You can even just use ziploc bags, though there are many different ones you can choose from.

I have the ika bag and really like it! I love how it looks stylish but it's really practical as well. I did a review on mine....if you search the boards for ika bag you can find it!

@tinyperson: Good to hear you like it! my DH likes it too. I'm thinking it might be good to have a big one and a more purse like one for shorter trips out.

I have the So Young Charlie, and I liked it because it was durable, had great compartments, was "man-friendly" and cute! It was bulkier than some diaper bags and not very purse-like, so I stopped using it once we were out of the baby stage and I didn't have to carry so much stuff with me!

I've had my eye on the So Young Charlie bag, and they send me a pre-black friday sale for 50% seconds bags.
http://ca.soyoung.ca/collections/diaper-bags/products/waxed-charcoal-charlie-limited-edition

Does anyone have it? pros? Cons?
I love the look of it but i'm wondering if it will be too big/heavy? I'm hoping to cloth diaper so I figure they will take up a bit more space in a diaper bag than regular diapers. Will I need something this big?

Otherwise i'm thinking something like this...
https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/169340059/waterproof-messenger-bag-diaper-bag?ref=shop_home_active_3

If you have any of these or another bag you suggest that would be helpful!
