@googly-eyes: hehe! my favorite diaper bag for infants, hands down, is the Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack because all you do is zip down the two sides of the front to unfold the changing pad, and your diapers and wipes and cream are all right there in the front of the bag.

So all you do is plop it onto the end of the changing table, zip down, zip down, unfold, and lay baby down! I absolutely loved it!!! You can do it all while holding baby with the other arm!

I have a changing pad and I just keep wipes, diaper cream, and diapers separate. I know where everything is so it works for me.

@mrs.wagon I wasn't sure if gear was like furniture/swings/strollers/bigger items or if it included diaper bags. ;)

I have that last one but I was thinking about getting one like the first one where everything is attached...I find myself making a huge mess changing LO's diaper in public!! One time I had to change a poopy one and in getting all my stuff together LO peed all over the changing pad and I though to myself...I need to be more organized... lol.

diaper bags are absolutely gear! Very important gear. I love diaper bags.

I love diaper bags.

Yes!!! I always keep the diapers and wipes in the most handy location. If I'm carrying a big tote with no easy access pockets, I use a diaper changing clutch or kit like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/Skip-Hop-Pronto-Changer-Diaper/dp/B000F1SCJK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361298521&sr=8-1&keywords=skip+hop+diaper+changing+kit

or this one (I have both!)

http://www.amazon.com/JJ-Cole-Diaper-Wipes-Pod/dp/B001Q3LB6M/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1361298535&sr=8-9&keywords=jj+cole+diaper+changing+pod

there is a newer version of the JJ Cole pod:

http://www.amazon.com/JJ-Cole-Diapers-Wipes-Mixed/dp/B005G37VXA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361298535&sr=8-1&keywords=jj+cole+diaper+changing+pod

Do you have a "diaper changing station" in your diaper bag? If so does it help you? Would you recommend getting one? My diaper bag is always so messy!

(I put this under gear but I know it's not really gear...)
