We have the Skip Hop Versa (purchased based on a recommendation on HB!), and we just use the same one. It's too much of a hassle to move stuff in and out.

I registered for a girly Skip Hop so I am buying a black messenger-style diaper bag for DH because I don't want him to have to carry mine lol. Plus I will probably just use mine as a purse and would rather keep two diaper bags stocked than have to unpack and pack a new purse and repack when he had to use mine (if he would be with LO without me).

My husband uses a Fisher Price travel deluxe diaper changer - it's great for shorter outings. He can fit 4 diapers, small package of wipes, an extra outfit, burp cloth, bib and plastic bags in it. He just throws this and our small bottle cooler into his backpack and uses that when he takes LO out by himself.

I just use a wetbag. My everyday diaper bag is the Skip Hop Via. It's just okay. It's a great size for everyday use because it's just big enough to hold the necessities and I don't overpack. If we're going to be gone all day I use my big Longchamp bag.

My husband has his own diaper bag. It's a
black hiking bag with tons of compartments. He likes to pack things a certain way plus he likes carrying his wallet and phone in his backpack. Plus he thinks it looks cooler
than a regular diaper bag. Looks kinda dorky to me but whaaaaaatever.

I have the Skip Hop Duo. http://www.skiphop.com/product/21500.html
I went for the more 'girly' diaper bag because in reality, this is my purse for the next few years, (plus more years with LO number two). I want to have something that I would pick out for myself. In the end, the print is a bit gender neutral, but that's just my style. It is rare for us to need more than 2 diapers out, but I have stuffed it with a full day's worth on occasion. I also really like that it has an antimicrobial zip pocket. I put the dirty diapers in there and don't even need a wet bag: I just fold them up in such a way that the poop is on the inside of a diaper package.
When the day comes that DH is spending a day where he is alone and needs a diaper bag (and this has got to be rare) well, he can just use one of his bags and put in the necessary supplies.

My husband carries the Journey pack from Scout by PPB, and I carry the Eliza Baby by Marc Jacobs. My bag is huge, which I love and it has a long strap for crossbody wearing, which I feel is a must. The Journey is great for my husband because its structured and not too large. I know a few people share this bag since its manly, but super cute. I need a big bag because my baby goes to work with me so I carry a ton of stuff with me back and forth each day. So far these have been great bags.

We use the same one, it's too annoying to keep two packed. We put CDs in a wet bag inside the diaper bag. It does get pretty packed, but usually we don't carry more than 2 or 3 CDs.

We use the same diaper bag, regardless of who's carrying it. Most of the time though, it is slung over the back of the stroller, so it doesn't matter if it's girly or manly.

We currently use one or the other, either a Skip Hop Duo or a Vera Bradley Messenger.

I registered for the petunia pickle bottom boxy backpack. Hubs will use it sometimes, but we'll probably also stash a back pack with diapering supplies in hubs' car.

DH and I use the same diaper bag. It would be too much to have to switch out LO's stuff every time the other person has her..... it's hard enough to remember to put everything in there as it is!

I'm not going to recommend my bag to you.... I just don't love it. But we just throw the clean diapers in the bag and have a wet bag for the dirty diapers, and it has a little mesh side thing that I put any soiled clothes in too.

Do you have separate diaper bags for you and your SO? And for the cd'ing mamas, what bag do you recommend that's big enough? And did you get a wet/dry bag (to store clean and dirty cd's), or just a wet bag and keep the cd's in the bag? Trying to finish up my registry and deciding which diaper bag to go with! Thanks!
