I have a messenger bag that I use. I would like to also get a nice looking backpack. A lot of times I leave the diaper bag in the car (like when I'm grocery shopping) because it's easier to change her there.

I also throw a few essentials in my purse sometimes instead of using a diaper bag. It's a cross body.

Regular lands end backpack for front carries. If he's on my back my husband wears the backpack, or I leave it in the car and just keep my essentials in my pockets. I would like a messenger type bag for longer outings but I haven't found a good one yet that's the right size.

I just bought an Ergo book bag, which is made to use in conjunction with the Ergo. It was $35 at TJ Maxx and an impulse purchase. I haven't used it yet, but it's well padded and looks comfortable.

PPB boxy backpack. Baby on the front, bag on the back. Easy peasy.

I don't. If I'm babywearing without DH, or someone who would be willing to carry the bag, my trips are short. If I'm using a SSC, I put a pacifier in the front pocket. My keys are on a hook that attaches to my belt loop, and my phone and card go in my back pocket. If I am using a wrap, I have a small, cross-body purse that holds the essentials.

If my trip will be a long one, (i.e. multiple stores in the mall), I just use the stroller, and store a carrier in the bottom. I'm short and petite and would probably topple over if I attempted to BW and carry a dipe bag.

I clip the skip hop pronto on the hip belt when we go for walks. It has diapers, wipes, extra onesie, a&a blanket, cell, keys, and I throw a cc and ID if I might need it. Clip the paci onto me and we are good to go. If I'm going shopping or bringing the stroller I bring my big danzo.

@Foodnerd81: I just sling it over my shoulder. The only time I babywear AND need a diaper bag are church and the grocery store (so far!) so I usually don't have the diaper bag on long. My DH is especially efficient - he shoves a cloth diaper and a sample pack of wipes in the Ergo pocket and calls it good ;)

I don't. I just wear a cross-body purse with the essentials in it under my SSC or RS.

I either just carry my wristlets with my essentials- keys, cell phone, if we are staying close, or I carry my regular skip hop studio shoulder bag. Kind if annoying but I like to have access to it and its easy to take off and put in my lap on public transportation or whatever.

@grizz: do you put the strap across your chest? Under or over baby?

@LovelyPlum: PPB boxy backpack. I like it! Honestly I should've been frugal and bought a normal backpack, and its straps would e been more padded but... I didn't.

ETA it is nice to have the messenger option too; for hip carries

If you babywear frequently, what diaper bag do you carry while you do? Thanks!
