@bunnylove08: Yeah, but now DH is interested in us (translate: probably me) making our own wipes. I need to look into it. I know that it's not too difficult.

@Mrs. Twine: She's about 4 months. I may put some baking soda in our bath tonight. I bathe her in the big tub with me. She loves getting into the warm water.

At home you could also do sitz baths for her to help with the rash; 2tbsp. baking soda in about 4 cups warm water. It will help the area heal. You can also do it in the big tub or a baby tub (I can't remember her age), but you'd use more baking soda and more water. Follow the soak with some diaper-free time for maximum effectiveness. Yes to the more frequent diaper changes, and yes to a diaper cream or ointment to protect the area when the diaper is soiled (and just in general).

Yep! And then if you have time tonight I would let her lay on a towel with a nakie butt for a while!

@bunnylove08: The daycare makes her own wipes that she uses on her own kids. Since LO has the rash, she asked if I'd be okay with her using those on LO too, and I agreed.

i change hey diaper more often and I try to wash with water and lots of aquaphor.

I'm thinking about getting these wipes when LO has a diaper rash and is at her baby sitter house. http://www.dermah2o.com/

Yeah definitely change it more often, and like the pp said...Use some sort of cream/paste with every diaper change. It really does help.

Like @autumnlove said - more frequent changes, but lots of diaper free time so that it airs it out. Letting it dry out will do more for it than the diaper changes. If you can't do a lot of diaper free time, I use Triple Paste with each diaper change, and it usually looks SO much better in just a couple of hours.

Do you change your baby more often when they have a diaper rash? LO has a bad one, so I'm going to talk to daycare about changing her every hour. LO never gives us any cues that her diaper is full, or that she hurts from the rash until we go to change her.
