Could it be teeth? LO got a bad case of diarrhea when her bottom teeth came in. I called the doctor because I was scared of dehydration . The told me to offer her 2 oz. of pedialite (she was 5.5 months old) to help give her bottom a break. it worked. They also said instead of store boughten Pedialite you can mix 2 cups water, 1/4 tsp. of salt, and 2 Tbsp. of rice cereal. We did this until we were able to make it to the store. it worked wonders to help her little sore tush out, maybe run those by your doctor?

My doctor said 3 pees is good with diarrhea. Your doctor will probably want a stool sample for testing. My lo had this and we had to take a stool sample into the labs. They said it would either be something treatable or something that just runs its course. By the time we got the results back she was better..... But we learned she had salmonella so I'm glad we got her tested.

Hope your lo feels better soon!

I would definitely call. Dehydration is a concern with such frequent diahrrhea, and the fact that she has only peed 3 times would be a trigger for me.

I would definitely call. She seems to be happy, so it may be fine, but I would worry about dehydration.

DD is 6 months old and has been having diariah for 5 days now. It is green and really watery. She is pooing every 1-3 hours and only peeing maybe 3 times a day total. She doesn't have any other symptoms and seems to be eating just fine. Previous to this she only went poo once a day at most but normally every 2 days. When should I worry? How do I get it to go away? Her pedi said to call on the 5th day if she still had diariah or if she hadn't peed in 12 hours.
