Darn. I was so hoping I hit the baby sleep jackpot. Well... I suppose I'm not usually getting woken up by kicks so I should be thankful for that, at least!

My son was active all of the time, there were just periods where I felt it more, like when I was lying down and at night. When he was born though, he had no concept of day vs night and we had to do a little bit of work to adjust him.

Not for me. My LO used to go crazy at night in utero but once she came along she was a pretty good night sleeper (until we hit the 4 month sleep regression but that's a story for another day).

I'm hoping this is the case, because my baby is definitely more active during the day and fairly quiet at night. Did you notice that the times of day/night that the baby was most active before he or she was born were similar as a newborn? I'd love to be dealing with the crazy antics at 3 pm, rather than 3 am, when this lovely baby usually lets me sleep!
