But SIL posted about being an aunt on Facebook before we announced the birth. I saw it, and in my postpartum emotional craziness, I completely broke down sobbing. My husband called her (she lives in Europe) and told her how upset we were. I was pretty pissed to be honest. We were team green with twins and one thing we were most looking forward to was announcing genders and their names. Right after the delivery, we saw/announced to our family &amp; a couple very close friends who were at the hospital while I was on my way to recovery. DH &amp; I were kept in the recovery room for a little while and that was when she announced....including their full names and weights. I saw shortly after that my phone was blowing up with congrats because she had tagged us. I. Was. Not. Happy. My mom asked if she could tell her sister and dad. I said of course (she was SO excited). While we were telling DH's parents, my cousin (the son of mom's sister) congratulated me on facebook. This is how my sister found out I was pregnant (she was next on the list of people to call! I swear!) Two days later someone announced for us, I was SO irritated I made DH tell them to take it down. We found out about my nephews passing (born early) and my nieces birth on social media. I was so heartbroken. So again after our kids were born we asked that people let us announce when we were ready. </p>
