I have considered adding a few more feminine touches, i.e., a small floral-themed chandelier and maybe a sheer canopy over the crib. Little pops of pink would look great, too. I just really loved the little blue birds (I bought a few (blue) bird wall hooks from Urban Outfitters as well).

We didn't buy bedding. We just bought separates, since we wouldn't have used most of it anyway. I am a pink lover so I waited to see what I was having before deciding. I love gender neutral stuff though- it really makes more sense if you want more than one kid.

Nope, I was determined to have gender neutral items so we can reuse for future children.
I was convinced I was having a boy but turns out we're having a girl! Haven't changed our nursery "Theme" because of it. But it was a gender neutral one to begin with.

I did change my mind on bedding about 14 times. I did get a valence off of my registry that I meant to remove but that ended up working out okay since I changed my mind on the color of the room...again. :)

Can you brighten or girlie things up with a pretty valence or a different color paint on the wall...like a really light pink? Oh and by the way - I LOVE your bedding selection! I think it definitely says girl all the way. :)

I don't think that looks masculine. It's really neutral. And you could always do pops of pink around the room to make it look more girly. My take is I want all my expensive pieces to be gender neutral so that I can use them for any additional children we have, regardless of gender.

I have a neutral crib set that I still adore (Petit Tresor Nesting) . . . but I must confess that I really thought I was having a boy. Now that I know I am having a girl, and planning on dark nursery furniture, I am wondering if the combintation will be a little too masculine (DH really doesn't want light/white furniture, which makes sense, considering the rest of our house). Now, I am leaning toward a neutral but more feminine set (Spa Pom Pon Play). GAH! Anyone else find themselves in this boat?
