My LO didn't have any problems. She had already been napping on her tummy for a couple of months by that time, so she just started sleeping on her tummy at night. She did great!

When we started sleep-training she went straight into a sleep sack. She had been breaking out of her swaddle because she wanted to suck on her fingers.

Yeah, we weaned ours at around 3 months when she started wedging herself up next to the co-sleeper, and I wanted her arms free so she could push herself away, if necessary. She transitioned fine.

LO has had issues sleeping lately (maybe the four month sleep regression). The other night she would not go to bed until like 11 and woke up every hour until 2. At that last wakeup, DH suggested that we leave her arms out. I had tried this one night a couple of weeks ago and she was so mad that I left her arms out.

I guess she was ready now though. She's had her arms out since Wednesday night (at 2am) during her nighttime sleep and she's had no issues with it. To some extent, it seems to be helping her sleep! Who knows, maybe she's going to realize she hates it tonight or something but it seems like this was a really smooth transition. Did anyone else have a LO who didn't put up a big fight being weaned from the swaddle? Did anyone have a LO who seems okay with not being swaddled but got mad about it a few days later?

She's still in a sleep sack (convertible Woombie actually) but her arms have been completely free.
