I found some important papers in the trash, which was no fun. I told him to ask me first before throwing things away and he would come ask. He would come running with a ridiculously small speck of dirt and ask to throw it away. He's mostly over the phase now though. I think they teach them to throw away their paper napkins and dixie cups at day care, and he doesn't know the difference between disposable and non-diposable so he throws cups and plates and utensils away at home as well. Our trash can is in a cabinet so we can hear her slam the door if she goes in it. But usually I see her pick something up, like a leaf that is on the ground, and go throw it out. I was missing one of her shoes and a sippy cup this morning so I ended up having to go outside and dig them out of the last bag we threw away. SO embarrassing!! </p> <p>Did your lo go through a "throw everything away" phase? :) </p>
