Not quite the same, but my BP started rising around 30 weeks, then the headaches and swelling started. At my 36 week appt (which fell on 36w5d) I was sent to the hospital for a non-stress test and was admitted and induced. LO was born 37w0d.

Got my BP taken at 4:00 pm, twins were delivered at 11:00 pm that same evening! Guess my dr didn't mess around when it comes to pre-e!

Got induced 5 days after my due date. I had all the symptoms, swelling, rapid weight gain, high BP, vision spots, and finally started having protein dumping into my urine.

I never actually got pre-e, but I was borderline around 37/38 weeks. I had to do the all day pee thing like 4 or 5 times. I was spilling protein into my urine and I had intermittently high BP. I also felt like total crap - a 5 minute shower left me exhausted and needing to sit down to catch my breath. I was so sick feeling and with all the other stuff I got put on bed rest until my induction at 39w.

My mom had zero symptoms of pre-e but showed up for her 38 week scheduled appointment and was walked across the street to be induced because her blood pressure was so high!! She had a kind of nightmarish labor and some tough recovery for both her and my brother but within a couple of week everyone was fine and dandy.

I *firmly* believe that I had it before they caught it but I was induced at 38 weeks because of pre-e. I had been seeing spots & getting migraines so bad I literally couldn't comprehend words since 25 weeks but was told to see a neurologist. Then I had high blood pressure 3 weeks in a row when they finally sent me to the hospital for a 24 hour urine test. I started laboring on my own (early labor) that night. The next morning they told me I peed too much & they couldn't tell if I had pre-e or not but they wanted to start pitocin since I was already in labor. I asked them to wait a couple hours, they later came back (after we needed up starting the pit) & said that they did find protien in my urine so it's good that we went ahead with it. LO was born 6 hours after they started the pitocin & all was/is well.

At my 38-week appointment this morning, my BP was higher than it has been, although not THAT high - kind of on the borderline. But there was also a tiny bit of albumin in my urine. Again, not a ton, but enough that they want me back in a few days for monitoring.

I'm scheduled for a c-section a week from tomorrow because baby is breech, so I think that even if I do have mild pre-e, worst case scenario would be that I have the baby a few days earlier than planned.

But I'm curious - did anyone here develop mild pre-e late in pregnancy, and if so what ended up happening?

ETA: I have zero other symptoms - no headaches, vision issues, or swelling.
