@periwinklebee: Maybe it would be beneficial to start it past this really tough peak in fussiness!

I didn't notice a difference in fussiness. But I think we started around 8 weeks, so he may have been beyond peak fussiness... :goodluck:  :goodluck:

@paigeface: I know it goes by weight and my DD was a big baby and still is a bit. She was 11 lbs when we started and was prescribed 1.5ml. We still do this dose. Hope the fussiness passes soon!

@Sams Mom: Ah that's awesome! I am hoping that is our case as well. My son had reflux as well and If I remember correctly from years ago we stopped the Zantac after a few weeks too. We never refilled it a second time.

@Sams Mom: Did you continue the Zantac or stop? I agree that it might be the horrible 6 week fussiness!!

@pinkb: Yes she also has gas and we do the gas drops as well but sometimes not at every feed. Need to start doing that. The prescribed 1ml twice a day for the Zantac. She doesn't seem to spit it back up though!

Could it be gas? We are on Zantac have been since 4 weeks but we also do gas drops at every feed. We actually started with the drops which helped then realized she had reflux and had to add Zantac. Couple other thoughts, is the dose they told you correct? And is she ingesting her whole dose and not spitting it out?

We used baby zantac for a couple weeks 8-10ish if I remember right. I didn't notice it getting worse, but maybe because we were on the downhill from the horrible 6 week fussiness. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Hopefully it gets better

Anyone notice more fussiness with Ranitidine? We started it Friday. She's 6 weeks which I know is usually the peak of fussiness and major growth spurts (per wonder weeks.) Naps have been a disaster during the day with 20 min incriminates and she would not let me put her down yesterday. Sleep was better last night but a struggle to get her happy and down at 8:30pm. She then slept until 2:30am feeding time and then again until 6:30am. Woke up fussy again though. This a 6 week stage or a reaction to the Ranitidine? I just want a happy baby. Reflux is miserable.
