However, if you can avoid it skip the ring all together and just have your LO sit on the big potty if they will. I think it's totally doable to just use the ring. At daycare the toilets are pretty much regular toilets, anyway, just closer to the ground. The standalone is pretty easy to clean. I'd much rather just get a seat adapter for the toilet &amp; step stool, and train DD on that. Is this even possible? Was anyone else successful in this? Or do I need to suck it up and get a little potty? </p> <p>ETA: I don't plan on hardcore training until this summer when I'm off work, but she's starting to show she's ready (loves to flush the toilet after I go, tells me when she's about to "poop", hates being "wet") so I'd like to buy something to start and get her used to it before we actually train in a few months. </p>
