It was perfect. We loved the location and the pool/beach all daywas perfect. Fruitinfuxedwater by the pool helped to keep myself hydrated. Dinners were fancy amd yummy! It was super relaxing. Would recommend one of the quieter islands like St. Kitts/Nevis or St. Martin (French side) for a baby moon!<br /> I was in my early second trimester but wish I had gone a bit later when I felt more pregnant! Granted, we've been there 3 times already in the past few years, but it was a great destination to just relax, eat all the yummy island food and enjoy each other's company.</p> <p>We were torn between NYC or Hawaii (we live in the west coast), and ended up choosing Hawaii. It's like you've traveled to a special island and you would have expected it to take a lot longer. Clear blue warm water anytime of year! </p> <p>There are some very beautiful resorts depending upon what you're looking to do. Relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, shopping and sight seeing are all fantastic. We usually stay 25min outside of San Juan and then go in for a day or 2 while we are there. We don't stay in San Juan because we like the better beaches at the other resorts outside of the city. But if we do end up doing this in the future, I would want a really low stress travel plan. For me, that would mean not flying anywhere, because I hate worrying about making connections and all of that. </p> <p>Living on the east coast means there are lots of places you can get to in a days drive. We did a sweetheart weekend at the Clifton Inn--not cheap, but really excellent.
