Wouldn't last one second on my squirmy guy. We used a second diaper over his man parts. Although after a while we learned how to make him pee before diaper changes-- we'd open the diaper and let some cold air hit the peepee, then close the diaper and let it soak up the pee. After that stopped working, we'd dangle a cold wet wipe in there and he'd pee. After that, we'd just blow on his peepee and he'd pee. After a few months we stopped having open air accidents all together. Then the closer to my due date the more I told myself it was a nice to have. I'm glad I never bought them b/c the thought of washing them every time after he peed on it would have driven me nuts! I just put a tissue over his pee pee. Doing the same for my second son now too. I ordered a couple sets because I thought they were adorable and then we had a preemie and the teepee covered his entire torso as well as his little man parts so it didn't work for us and then I forgot I had them until the other day when my chihuahua was playing with one. Oh well, at least they didn't cost much. </p>
