We went over our plan, that if I let him know by 5 PM my time and he can get a seat on the next flight (one per day), he can be back the following afternoon. She was 2 months old when he came home and met her. I don't think he even met them till they were home. If Baby V decides to make an early arrival during that time, DH probably won't make it back for the birth. My parents live very close to us, so I'm not too worried about making it through delivery without him. My bigger concern is recovery with a new baby if he's not here.</p> <p>Did your SO miss the birth of your LO? What were the circumstances? How did it go? </p>
