When I was 24 weeks, my mother in law took all the girls to New York...and I face planted in the middle of a crosswalk! I also had low fluid and a grade III placenta (at 33 weeks). By far the scariest thing happened after I had my LO...my old placenta didn't detach and I ended up hemmorhaging and losing 1200mL of blood!

At the very end of my pregnancy at a routine checkup they discovered I had extremely low fluid and had to be admitted to the hospital and induced, followd by a c-section. It was scary because it was unexpected and all happened very fast. But atleast the baby was already full term and past her due date so it could have been worse

@jholler25...yeah, at that point in my life all I could do was google. I had a horrible experience in ER and no OB at the time either, it was a real nightmare. Luckily, I got in to a dr who put me on Prometrium and saw me within a couple days. The original on-call doctor I called from the ER rec was not even going to see me for 2 weeks!

Nothing scary happened with my first pregnancy. With, my second, I slipped a fell forward at around 4/5 months of the pregnancy. Luckily I only landed on my knees, not my stomach. I immediately threw away those worn out shoes. At 32 weeks, I had some bleeding. I went to the doctor and found out I was 1 cm dilated but uterine wall was still thick. Luckily, I didn't need to be on bed rest.

At 9 weeks, they discovered a softball size cyst on my right ovary. There was nothing they could do at the time, but I was restricted to absolutely no physical activity and no sex. They told me at any time it could twist or pop and I would need to get to the ER immedately to try and save my ovary. Luckily this never happened, and at my 20 week U/S it had shrunk down to 1/2 the size, so no surgery will be needed and it will be taken care of after I give birth (or during depending on what the doctor decides.)

Spotting at 6 weeks and a low heart rate, MD had us believing that we would miscarry. I tested at a higher risk for Downs, and then in follow up U/S with Fetal Specialist they thought they saw a heart arrhythmia- so I was monitored through 34 weeks when I finally got an all clear.
I fainted twice, once on the train on my way to work (15 weeks) and then again at 20 week (in a not so graceful fashion) in front of 300+ people at a awards banquet for work in the middle of the CEO giving a speech about his resignation.
I also suffered from a severe kidney infection at 36 weeks (4 day stint in the hospital where I discharged myself because I was convinced they should be doing more for me and took myself to a Boston Hospital for second opinion) and eventually induced for Intrahepatic Cholestatis of Pregnancy at 38 weeks (this diagnosis can result in still birth) so I will be monitored closely this time, normally with ICP they recommend inducing at the end of week 36. Here's hoping this pregnancy will be uneventful and boring til the end

I fell several times, the first couple times I cried because I was so worried. The dog pulled me backwards off my chair at 37 weeks at my baby shower. Luckily baby always was super squiggly right after so I never worried much.

I've had spotting since 13 weeks most likely due to a cervical polyp which is not a big deal at all, but I've also had a LEEP so there is a higher risk of cervical incompetence. I guess I will just be getting additional ultrasounds to check my cervix periodically but it's still a little worrisome.

MY first pregnancy the baby tested positive for Downs. I don't wish that testing/waiting for anyone. The baby miscarried. This pregnancy if it could go wrong with me it has- funneling cervix put me on bedrest at 22 weeks, sciatic pain so I couldn't walk and ended up in hospital, anemia, and GD- but the twins are doing so well cooking in there I just dont care what happens to me.

With my first, I fell (landed on my rear) while walking the dog at about 24 weeks. Severe pain at 39w when LO decided to settle onto my nerve and it was almost impossible to walk.

This pregnancy, severe pelvic pain concentrated on right side at 22w; this baby is also sitting on the same nerve just started earlier.

At 15 weeks pregnant I passed out at work due to high blood pressure (or an anxiety attack as the paramedics called it). I was out for a while and had hit my head on the tile floor...I had to go to the hospital in an ambulance! After this event I had chronic hypertension my entire pregnancy.

At 20 weeks I went into pre term labor. After this I had to quit work and put on bed rest.

I had some bleeding at 5 weeks. It was extra scary for me because I had already miscarried once so I was 100% sure it was happening again and I would never be able to carry a baby to full term. But everything was fine ..... I guess I was being a little dramatic.

pregnancy was pretty uneventful, but did have random spotting once (turned out it wasn't from the cervix and they weren't sure where it came from). also, had an echogenic focus on my baby girl so was worried it could be down syndrome - turns out it's not, lots of asians have it. and on the day of delivery, baby boy's heart rate dropped significantly. everything turned out fine.

Nothing to scary during pregnancies. DS's heart rate was really low for awhile (first pregnancy). DD had a dilated kidney, but we were never told until after she was born (second pregnancy- made us so mad!). Delivery was scary as hell with DD though because she didn't breath and only scored a 2 on the apgar test

I got diagnosed with a heart condition called Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome at 36 weeks. I went in for a routine appointment and my heart rate was 140. They sent me for 3 ECGs and then sent me straight down to the emergency room. This is the reason the base transferred me out into a British hospital.

When I was 14 weeks, I was playing on the bed with my 140 pound Newfoundland dog, and he jumped right on my lower abdomen. I was super sore, and headed to emerg for an ultrasound. Otherwise, when his heart rate plummeted during the induction leading to my emergency c-section that was scary.

I've fallen multiple times on the stairs with both pregnancies. Last week, I burned my belly by (stupidly, accidentally) using it as a resting place for a pot of cooked pasta. Today I fell forward over a concrete hump on my way into the OB's office.
