At first a changing table and rocker will be in our room. LO1 had a crib in our office/guest room in our 2 bedroom apartment. I thought she would sleep with us but she had other ideas. I put decals up after she was born. </p> <p>LO2's room is still a guest room with a crib and glider stuck in it awkwardly. I bought some pictures to frame but that never happened. With my first it took a loooong time to get my feet under me enough to even keep a tidy house. But I keep assuming this time will be so much easier. </p> <p>We have been focusing on (finally) decorating our bedroom, after living in it for 3 years and it still looked like a dorm room. Then we are focusing on my sons "big boy" room. At 32 weeks I don't see getting to the baby's room in time.<br /> Ah, the guilt. He had his own room, but didn't move into it until he was four months old. It was sparsely decorated. We also bed/room share so a nursery is basically a cute pace to hang clothes. Only did it while pregnant because I didn't get to decorate when I had my first baby and I was in nesting mode so needed to do something. Lo2 was in our room for a year before going into her room. We kept LO 1 in our room for 6 months, but I liked having a place that was hers still. And we moved her there at 6 mo and at 2.5 she is still using it/the crib. So why not have it done before life gets harder? With the AAP recommendations, and our history of room sharing with DS 1, we are like, what's the point in stressing about it now. I feel so bad - we have a room to put the baby's stuff, but it's not a cute nursery or anything at all at this point. </p>
