I'm the oldest of five. We're spread over 8 years, and the middle one has special needs. MIL was home for most of DHs life and only ever had part time jobs here and there. It was a big adjustment for him when he moved out of his house. The change had a big impact on my life, but I'm glad that she got to explore her career after focusing so much energy on us kids. When you were growing up, did both of your parents work?
