Only my OB has actually asked directly if it was planned, but several people have made statements implying that they assume it was not planned. For example, "well I'm sure it happened a lot quicker than you were planning on" or "well I'm sure this wasn't what you were expecting but it will be great to have two so close in age!" It really annoys me that people assume that just because they are less than two years apart that must mean it wasn't planned when in fact we were not trying, not preventing and knew perfectly well it could happen. She's been married for almost two years, is close to 30, bought a big house about six months ago -- to me, all signs point towards babies lol. I don't get it, it's not like she's 16 and single?
