Revealed more flaws? Yes, lol.

It also challenged me to learn to react to certain things (I would consider one of my big flaws is how reactionary I can be in emotional situations) and that has been one thing I know I have changed (and I think improved!) since having LO.

I definitely perhaps worked on other flaws unknowingly too (ex, things that would have bugged me before I can more easily let go of recognizing there are more important things to focus on!).

I already knew what my big flaws were but having dd has amplified them quite a bit! Everything I don't like about me I'm afraid of "passing" to her..

Ugh yes! First being married and then having kids... it's like holding up a huge magnifying mirror to myself... the kind that shows all your pores. It's not pretty. But I'm working on myself.

Nope. I knew about my worst flaws before having a kid, thankfully. I was lucky that way, so I knew about the things I would have to work on most when she started doing things like throwing her entire dinner plate on the floor..

Oh crikey, yes!!! I'm also selfish and impatient *and* lazy (not that I have chance to be with a baby to look after!!). It has also made me face up to my poor attitude to my own and DH's health and to make some changes.

Since having my son I have realized that I am pretty selfish and very impatient. Obviously it is hard to actually be selfish while caring for him, you just do what needs to be done, but many times I find myself internally whining. In my head there is a whole lot of "You pooped again! I don't want to change a diaper right now" or "Really? Do you have to throw your food on the floor just to make it harder to clean up." Man do I see myself as a selfish person now! Thankfully I do see where raising kids is making me into a better person. Breaking down my own flaws and hopefully making me better in the long run!
