I've always had wacky long cycles. One month it would be 38 days, then 32, then 40, then 60, then 35. It was all over the place. I convinced myself I was pregnant several times and it drove me crazy! I really really recommend trying temping. I started 3 months ago, and found out that not only when I was O'ing, but that AF shows up, like clockwork 12 days later. It took the guesswork out and has made me a much more sane person. Plus, I haven't wasted any money on pregnancy tests since!

@winniebee: Thanks, I noticed some cramping too, but I wonder if I am just imagining things? Ugh. This is going to be harder than I thought!!

One additional way to track is by ovulation cramping or pains (which I always had on O day...felt like mild period pains and bloating). I didn't like the idea of temping, but I did use OPKs and my positive OPKs always matched up with that cramping.

@sslm: It sounds to me like you probably did O, but it's hard to say for certain without you temping. Maybe wait another day to be sure, but being dry is a pretty good indication that you did (I think). I wonder if I O'd... my nipples were sore the other day. :P

@mediagirl: I know, it's hard to say. Usually I do get sore boobs right around O time and then sore nipples right after, I'm waiting on the nipples... I can't believe how much I talk about nipples on here... Lol. I think I'll try temping next cycle, and I'm going for my day 24 blood work on monday, so I may get an answer then.

It's really hard to tell unless you're temping and keeping track of that, on top of your symptoms. Have you tried using Fertilityfriend.com to help you track this? I found it SO helpful! I never did find out if I O'ed or not, but I must have. Haha. Have you tried using OPK's if you don't want to temp? Those will tell you definitively.

Ok so I posted this over on the TTC thread but I thought I'd make a separate post so I could get more opinions :)

Today is CD21 and since coming off the pill I've had 4 cycles, 35, 46, 46, and 58 days, so I definitely ovulate late (if at all).

This week I had patches of what I think was ewcm. It was off and on throughout the days, but yesterday was when I had the most. Today my boobs are sore and I am dry!

Does anyone think I ovulated yesterday or is it just wishful thinking? I know I should temp and then I would know, but I haven't done that so here I am.

Thanks!
