You can try testing them by pouring in water. Hold your hand under it like a cup, and pour water in slowly. If it seems to repel the water, I would strip it. Note that that isn't a 100% accurate test, but it's quick and will give you an idea if they're repelling. If they don't seem to be, I would probably just wash with my diapers and admire my beautiful prefolds. I've never been one to worry about stains because he's just going to poop on them again tomorrow. Did I ruin them? Is there a way to salvage? I'm still such a newb at this cloth diapering thing. Worst case scenario, I can always use them as burp cloths or anything I guess. </p>
