I don't consider #1 a heavy sleeper either. I did put a white noise machine in #2's room, and another one outside both their rooms to create a vortex affect. </p> <p>Now that they share a room, #1 will just ignore the cries, and if she can't ignore them any longer she crawls into our bed (this is usually when #2 wakes up at 5:30-6 am in the morning). In the morning, he sometimes says he hears her cry at night, but he has never actually been woken up by the cries to the point that we have to intervene to get him back to sleep. She used to wake up w/ every MOTN cry #2 made, but that stopped after a month or so.
