Surprise! Water broke in the middle of the night at 37w5d, renovation still a week out from being finished let alone having a house clean enough to bring a newborn into. The only saving grace - my family was here to help. And I stayed with my parents in an apartment they had rented out while my husband worked hard with his parents in our house to get it all set-up once the renovation was finished. SO stressful! Just sharing to let you know that nothing will go as planned. Renovations can always take longer. And that baby is coming no matter what.
