I still believe in it, and it helps me with stress and also with giving me someone to talk to about how I'm coping. I love my sessions. I hate paying the $85 a session, of course, but I've started up the weekly appts again for this IVF cycle. I'll probably go three times pre-retrieval, and then have pre- and post-transfer sessions on transfer day, since those are the most important. So it's for my own sanity that I continue it. Also, it helps that my insurance covers my sessions. It makes me sad that I might get a job that doesn't cover acupuncture. </p> <p>I had my ER last week and my FET won't be until late January. I then used it for TTC and for my first successful round of IVF. </p> <p>Even though acupuncture alone didn't ward off my endo, or get me pregnant naturally I am such a believer in its benefits that I had to continue with IVF. Plus it can be a relaxing thing during a stressful time. I found the process more stressful than therapeutic since they wanted me to come in at very specific points in my cycle and the clinic was not convenient to my house.
