@runnerd: It took me 2 days to realize it was the progesterone supplements that made me dizzy/drunk feeling. I took it after I got home from work and was like whoa! DH and I went out to eat one night for dinner shortly after I took the supplement, and I'm sure other patrons thought I was drunk off my ass because I was staggering all over the place (was hella dizzy).

thanks guys, guess I have to get used to it then lol

@Alivoo01: I was pretty close to calling the nurse and asking if this was normal, but decided to crowdsurf HB first lol

I'm taking the same one as you - 200mg oral. And those are normal side effects (I called the triage nurse bc I was concerned how it affected me). Only thing she said was to make sure to take it at night. But even waking up is a bit difficult because the progesterone fog.

I took 2-100mg supplements last pregnancy and it made me feel like crap also, but not drunk/dizzy.

Things we do to have a healthy baby and pregnancy! :P

Good thing is, we get to stop taking it after the 1st trimester. hang in there!!

Yes, I was super lightheaded to the point where they send me to a cardiologist to make sure I was ok. I had vaginal ones

@runnerd: I took vaginal suppositories, Endometrin, and just had lot of discharge. Maybe slight dizziness and nausea but that could have been my pregnancy!!
The first day I took them actually I felt terrible but I was taking a huge dosage, 300mg. I've heard many women say the oral is much tougher than the vaginal. Can you ask your Dr for vaginal?

I took them vaginally from weeks 8 to 15. I felt exhausted, we sleep from the time I got off work until the next morning except to get up and eat dinner, I also had extreme headaches and dizziness, my blood pressure was really low, I always thought they were normal pregnancy symptoms! I guess maybe not?!

I took progesterone pessaries from 6-14ish weeks, and I felt like crap. I made a thread about it at the time - dizziness, shaking hands, racing heart, bloating and lethargic. Ughhhh!

I didn't have any of the symptoms you listed, except for extreme fatigue. I would sleep for 8 hours a night plus a two hour nap literally every single day.

I learned to always, always, always take my progesterone at night, otherwise I would feel absolutely dead during the day. I still was extremely tired but not falling asleep every hour, just in the afternoon.

I was taking progesterone injections twice a day through week 11. Once I stopped my symptoms got so much better. I had some terrible headaches and was exhausted. I think I still would have felt bad without the progesterone, but I do think it made it worse. I'm sorry you feel so bad? Is Tylenol helping the headaches? I was taking regular strength when the headaches kept me up. My doctor was ok with it.

I started oral progesterone supplements at 200mg Friday night. I had a really busy and exhausting weekend, but I'm starting to think maybe it's the supplements making me feel this way. Pounding headache constantly, groggy, sleeping constantly. dizzy, body and joint aches. I don't know if it's progressing pregnancy symptoms or the supplements. I'm taking them at night because of drowsy side effects but it's lasting all day. I never felt this bad in my first pregnancy, no supplements.

mostly it's the headaches and dizziness concerning me. I haven't had headaches this bad in years. so... how did supplements effect you?
