This happened to me at the grocery store one day. I bought a donut and the (older male!) cashier looks at it and was like "ohhh someone thinks they deserve a treat today eh?" and I was like ummmm I'm 8 months pregnant at this point I deserve to eat anything I want. And then he got all apologetic and said I should give the baby what it wants even if that is donuts.
