The first half of second trimester flew by, but now that anatomy scan is over I find myself counting down to the milestone weeks like 24 (viability) and then start of third!... The second trimester started out fine, but then I had daily migraines from weeks 16-21, and just as they were starting to back off, I had pre-term labor at 22 weeks. Also, my belly didn't really pop until about 26 weeks or so, and even now my bump is not huge . . . so I felt *fat* for a long time, and people kept making the most ridiculous comments about my small belly. Now, at 32.5 weeks, I am so over being uncomfortable, not being able to sleep, and the constant swelling (not to mention the weight gain) that I just want butterbean to be here so that I can enjoy her. I am trying to slow down and enjoy the last few weeks of this pregnancy, but it is so much easier to say than it is to do. The third was really slow for me, and definitely long and uncomfortable for me. Once I hit 32/33 weeks it started getting more difficult. By 35 weeks I was having issues and ended up delivering at 37 weeks. I couldn't have imagined going to 40+!
