I gained the exact same amount with both pregnancies, 32 lbs, but had babies weighing nearly a pound different - 7 lbs 6 oz for the first and 8 lbs 2 oz for the second. With both babies, I only lost about 12 lbs in the initial few weeks so it clearly wasn't all going to baby! I think I'm just destined to gain 32 lbs during pregnancy regardless of the baby size! :silly:

ETA: DD1 was born on her due date and DD2 arrived 8 hours after her due date, so pretty much exact same gestation time for both.

I gained about 50 lbs and had an 8 lb 12oz 22" baby... so maybe?
A lot of the weight was fluid, even though I didn't have pre-e, I had a TON of swelling.

Don't know yet. I gained 40 pounds with #1 and he was 10 lbs 9 oz. I'm 31 weeks pregnant with another boy and have gained around 21 pounds so far. But I've got GD this time so my diet is different. Even so, I think I was gaining less anyway and last time I retained a lot of fluid. We'll see how big this one is.
