It is a gorgeous name. Unique, in that she won't have 10 other girls with the same name in her class, but not at all out there. I didn't even know there were other pronunciations of it.</p> <p>As someone who has a first AND last name that people have butchered my whole life, either in spelling or pronunciation I actually liked that I had a name that was a little different. I just got used to spelling or correcting their pronunciation for people. I am also much more cognizant of making sure i get it right for others.</p> <p>Don't let anyone make you feel like you made a bad decision. I will admit though it's one of many names I have a harder time spelling- I mean literally I have probably never typed Michael without having to backspace (had to that time... Mia always instead of MIC... etc) I'm not great with words with a lot of letters/vowels especially if not all letters are being pronounced.
