For us, calling our LO's by name before they are born is part of the bonding process. :) </p> <p>Fwiw, we didn't get any personalized items with our son's name on it even though people knew it in advance of the showers! (I did post a poll on HB several months ago, though!)</p> <p>I don't want anyone's opinion about his name, and once he's born and the name is selected then no one will have the opportunity to influence our choice.</p> <p>His middle name will be my deceased FIL's first name, which is also my husband's middle name.
