#1 more, though still a lot her first year with #2. She liked it more and she was a lot smaller so she got worn for a lot longer.

#2 still requests to be worn at 19 months. We were always on the go with LO1, and LO2 needed to be worn in order to make it easier on us.

I hope #2 likes it better. #1 hated being worn. He's never been snugly it was hot, but this one will be born in Jan so hopefully...

Way more! I used the ergo often with DD1 but use the ring sling daily, if not multiple times a day. It's only a couple months old and it's insanely broken in.

LO1 loved it and I wore her all the time. LO2 just never really liked it, so I did a handful of times, but the last times I tried she screamed, flailed, and arched in protest. I *wish* she would have let me wear her because it would have made life with 2 much easier. The angst trying to get her to do it wasn't worth it. Mine are just 2 completely different kids when it comes to babywearing.

Absolutely! #2 didn't have a choice in the matter of being worn, I had to so I could chase his big bro. I wish I had gotten one of the sport Ergo's before he was born.

I wore #1 a lot but I'm sure I'll wear #2 even more since out of necessity we'll be out and about enjoying the summer!! I just bought a linen ring sling.

Definitely spring for a Tula. Their resale value is so high that it basically won't cost you anything once you sell it!

Oh my 18 mo old also fits my standard Tula very well still so I will probably tandem her. She finally will allow me to back carry. I may get a toddler Tula eventually, but she is small and a standard will fit her for a long time yet.

#1 more only because #2 hated every carrier I owned until I got a Tula. I would say from when I got the Tula on I wore them about the same, but she was like 8+ mo by the time I got it.

With #3 due in the fall I plan on wearing a lot again. I got a solly wrap to replace my sleepy (boba) wrap that I had sold (thought we were done after 2) and plan on using that then my Tula and hoping to sell off my other carriers.

#1 was not a fan of baby wearing but #2 is! In the newborn days the carrier is the only way my toddler got fed when I was home solo! Even now at 9m that is how we go on walks and go to the park etc.
So I say you will definitely wear #2 more! Assuming they like it.

I'm already wearing #2 all the time. I can give E a bath while wearing him, run groceries more easily (with E, I waited for DH to get home), and I wear him when we do stuff with E. We are just out and about more, so it's a necessity. I bought a new wrap for him and I am also getting a linen sling because I'm dying in the heat

i only have one so far, but i imagine i will be wearing #2 a lot more for two reasons. For one, I didn't know a lot about babywearing with LO1 and since he was born in the winter, i hardly wore him outside for the first few months (only got a babywearing coat the second winter right before he turned 1). And second, with a toddler to also take care of, I imagine it will be easier to go places and let the toddler have fun while all i have to do is pop LO2 in the carrier.

Of course it depends on your baby and your lifestyle at the time, but I'm curious if people tended to wear their first baby or second (or more) more often and longer?

My LO has always loved being worn, from a couple of weeks old when I figured out the moby. This winter we figured out a back carry in the beco and ergo and it is the only way we got around in all the snow. I only stopped wearing her after the snow melted, when she was almost 21 months and 25 lbs.

With baby #2 due in December I am envisioning wearing him or her a lot. I'm tempted to get some more carriers but I wonder if I'll end up wearing this one for a shorter period of time. If I knew I would wear him or her until 20 odd months again I would spring for a Tula now. :)
