(grew up Catholic) Then I learned there was no Santa and I was okay. Then I learned that the church actually stole the holiday from the Pagans and it started my journey to get away from the church.<br /> I've told my daughter about Santa. I love seeing her believe in that magic. Changed up their handwriting, used different wrapping paper just for those presents (which they hid and I never saw when I wrapped presents), things like that. When I was a kid, as young as 4, I distinctly knew that my parents bought gifts, wrapped them when we were sleeping, and put them out for us. </p> <p>Did you believe in Santa?
