I still forget and give my maiden name sometimes (it's been over a year...)</p> <p>My maiden name was easy to pronounce but very very difficult to spell due to apostrophes and several different common spellings. My married name is easy to spell (exactly as it sounds) but confuses the heck out of people when said aloud. Trying to say or spell it for people gets them so confused. There's a blogger who gave her son her husband's last name, and her daughter her maiden name.
