We actually chose his name when we did a 3D/4D ultrasound at 30 weeks. Her name is Rose and people gave us lots of personalized things, I did DIY personalized things for her nursery, and her room is full of roses. We hadn't told anyone, but we were super committed to it. The strange thing is though, that in the first 24 hours or so every time I looked at LO I wanted to call him Julian, which is so absolutely bizarre to me because that name wasn't even on our list. I felt bad because we had already by that point announced his name (not Julian!) and I didn't want to do a name take-back. So I think next time around I will think about waiting to finalize the name.
