I always said I wanted at least 2 kids, but now I'm not so sure. This is our first, and I'm only 15 weeks, but so far I've really struggled with this pregnancy. I'm having the hardest time mentally letting go of control over my body, and letting things happen. Plus, I'm a worrier, and it's been majorly amplified since becoming pregnant. Right now, I just want to feel "normal" again. But we'll see after the baby is born. I've heard that no matter how horrible the pregnancy was, most women want to do it again. :)

Right now, my DH and I both agree that we would like 3. But, we'll see how #1 goes first.

I always wanted a big family (4 or 5 kids) but since I'm almost 35 and we're still ttc #1, that's probably not going to happen. Right now our number is 2 with a possibility for 3. Depending on how long it takes us to have 1, we may be in the one and done crowd. I don't want to still be going through this after 40.

Initially I wanted at least 2, but I am content with having only 1 for the time being. It was much easier for me to imagine my life with 2 kids in it when I didn't have any of my own yet. Now that I have a 6 month old, I am on the fence about having more (it is hard work being a parent). I'm sure that will change when my LO gets older.

My husband and I always wanted 2 kids. He really wants a boy, but I knew about half way through my pregnancy that I didn't want to go through pregnancy again. I also started thinking more about finances and how we would be able to provide our daughter more if she stayed the only child. The agreement that my husband and I have come to is that we'll approach the issue again in 5 years once we're both done with school and hopefully settled into careers. If one of us still feels like we don't want any more biological children for whatever reason we will probably sign up to be foster parents.

So I saw this on WB and thought I should ask you guys here.

I don't have any kids yet so I can't answer this question.

I'm interested to know if you changed your mind on the number of kids you wanted.

Right now, I think having 2 kids would be enough and maybe 3. I'm pretty sure I want at least 2 kids because I want them to have someone to play with. Although, I don't know. What happens if I end up wanting just one kid and no more?
