This is our first, and I'm only 15 weeks, but so far I've really struggled with this pregnancy. I'm having the hardest time mentally letting go of control over my body, and letting things happen. Plus, I'm a worrier, and it's been majorly amplified since becoming pregnant. Right now, I just want to feel "normal" again. But we'll see after the baby is born. Right now our number is 2 with a possibility for 3. Depending on how long it takes us to have 1, we may be in the one and done crowd. It was much easier for me to imagine my life with 2 kids in it when I didn't have any of my own yet. Now that I have a 6 month old, I am on the fence about having more (it is hard work being a parent). He really wants a boy, but I knew about half way through my pregnancy that I didn't want to go through pregnancy again. I also started thinking more about finances and how we would be able to provide our daughter more if she stayed the only child. The agreement that my husband and I have come to is that we'll approach the issue again in 5 years once we're both done with school and hopefully settled into careers.
