E had complications due to being overdue last time, and I don't want T to have to go through that if we can avoid it! I was induced with my first because I was GBS+, my water broke and 12 hours later contractions hadnt started. The hospital of course hit a busy steak that last week and couldn't fit me in. Today my doctor said I have the option of getting induced since it's my second pregnancy. I did not know that was an option! But it does sound appealing because I can schedule the date and know my doctor will be the one with me in the delivery room (as opposed to whichever doctor is on rotation that day). It's more convenient and less stress. Did you get to choose to be induced before your due date? What was your experience like? </p>
