@lamariniere: I was definitely overweight when I conceived LO. My OB wanted me to do something with the nutritionist during pregnancy. I didn't. I figured that I was pregnant and going to enjoy it. I only gained 25 lbs total during pregnancy. I gained a ton of weight pp with pumping, marriage counseling, and stress. I was at my highest weight ever last year with all of the stress.

Last June, after we weaned, I started weight watchers. I'm now almost 15 lbs lighter than when I conceived LO. If I don't watch my food consumption, I definitely teeter on overweight. Weight Watchers helps keep me in check.

@cascademom: I think it probably depends on where you are with your weight? Even though I conceived our 1stl LO 10lbs heavier than our 2nd, I have almost always been on the lean side in a healthy weight range, so I definitely wasn't overweight at the time. After that, I think it's just kind of the luck of the draw.

@lamariniere: That's interesting. So weight may not have a bearing on how long it'll take to conceive LO #2. I'm just curious because I'm in better shape now than when conceived LO.

I was about 10lbs lighter when we conceived our 2nd, but I was also at my skinny weight then. With our first we were NTNP and our 2nd was definitely planned, but they took about the same number of cycles to get a BFP.

I'm just curious about this. I've been doing WW since last June. I'm about 12-14 lbs lighter than my pregnancy/conception weight at the moment. It took us 4 months to conceive LO at my previous weight. I lost 10 lbs in the first trimester and gained it back when food didn't make me sick.

I'm curious if it was easier to conceive at a lighter weight the second time around or if it was about the same.
