DH couldn't go to the six month appointment so I had to be strong and watch. This was for his 2 month shots. It was so awful, and I cried at 2, 4, and 6 months. :( We switched doctors after that, though, and the doctor we see now allows us to hold the kids for their shots. It's still not pleasant, but the kids calm down so much faster since I can comfort them the whole time. They let me hold her so it wasn't too bad for her, and she didn't cry until the actual stick. I'm afraid now that she's older and more alert she'll get more upset this time around, and so will I! I hate thinking about her being hurt and confused, even if it is for a good reason. :'( </p>
