I would have for sure switched OBs even if we hadn't moved because i didn't love mine the first time (and then he retired, so there is also that!). The first hospital I delivered at was an hour away from our house, this time I'm only about 10 minutes away. I almost had to go somewhere else but wound up at the same hospital and had some of the same nurses, who remembered us! And stayed in the exact same room postpartum! It was a nice facility and more modern, but local traffic is pretty bad and parking for visitors was pricey/valet only haha. </p> <p>With LO2, I delivered closer to home (20 mins away). The hospital's been updated but still not as nice as LO1's birth place. Traffic and parking is easy/free though which is a big plus for everyone visiting and DH having to go back and forth to LO1. I was so annoyed but luckily there were two groups that delivered at the same hospital. I actually liked the second group better. But then we moved and I didn't make it to that hospital in time and ended up at a random hospital with a random OB.
