A big factor would probably be that maternal age if often higher in IVF. And people who have trouble getting pg due to female factors may be due to uterine reasons...</p> <p>For me...the issue was probably infection or maybe placental tear. Infection could possibly be due to all of the procedures I had to have. She made it all the way to 37 weeks, and while her daughter is small, she really wasn't that small considering the situation- 5 lb 12 oz. I was in college when they were born and it was so scary! I remember holding them and thinking they were just like tiny kittens.. I think?? They were very premature and in the NICU for a while.
