In the morning I dressed DS in his favorite costume (train engineer). At pick up I asked DS to go give everyone a hug, and naturally everyone went to hug him it was very sweet. The teacher then told them to line up together and said cheese -- I took both pictures and a video. We went all around the school and look for his favorite teachers to say bye, and ask to take a picture together. We loved our daycare/preschool. It was an emotional day and I cried :(</p> <p>ETA: I think you can buy a balloon for your child and give it to him/her at pick up too! I remember another mom gave all the kids goodie bags and wrote a note that it was xxx's last day... Did you do anything special to celebrate the last day of daycare/preschool/school? I'm thinking we may go for ice cream. </p>
