LOL!!! I've worked with some very pregnant horses that were beyond over it at the end of their 11 months (I'm not kidding or anthropomorphizing when I say they were bitchy! But after experiencing 37-39 weeks with my first, I understood!) I can just imagine an elephant with their intelligence!!

@lemondrop: This makes me feel sorry for large animals, like elephants. Being pregnant for 18 months for one baby is pretty annoying, lol

@lemondrop: Same thing for me! When people ask how far along I am, I just say I have about 3 months to go. MIL asked a few weeks ago if he can hear, yet, and I had to look it up, cause I had no clue, lol.

Nothing is cool for me, lol. I'm sooo over pregnancy, lol. I'm way more impatient to fast forward to the end on this kid, lol.

@Dandelion: people keep asking what week we are in, I have to check my phone app to figure it out. My husband doesn't remember either. One night at dinner he kept trying to ask me something and kept saying "nevermind" finally I'm all "WHAT?" he then asked what week we were in, and I told him I have no idea and had to look it up :silly:

I'm trying to savor the cool parts of pregnancy (kicks, movement) but really it's just uncomfortable.

Same here... just washed my oldest's clothes for his little brother to wear when he is born. Just had to move his big brother out of his room and into big boy bed. It's must easier when your second is the same gender AND born in the same season. My boys' birth months are one month apart. Although, my youngest is taller and heavier so he is already wearing 2T and 21 months; whereas my oldest was always on the dot with sizing.

31 weeks and haven't really done anything. We have all our stuff from dS so I'm not as anxious this time around and not worried about not having anything.

I'm the same way! I'm almost 26 weeks and haven't bought a thing. Its the opposite gender too so I will need clothes and bedding, etc. But most of the big purchase items are taken care of, I guess. I'm not going to have a shower either so I better get on it!

I'm not pregnant yet, but I think I will have "most" of hte things I need so prepping won't be as intense, expecially if it's another girl. I already know our photographer/daycare/have most neutral gear/ect. So if we have a boy I will need clothes/nursery/blankets, otherwise we are pretty much good to go! I will redo the nursery some if it's a girl to make it "hers"

Third one here, but not really...I'm not really into the weekly updates about what's going on inside of me, either. I'm more interested in skipping to the end.

I have been shopping a bit for him, but not as much as I was with S or DS. I figure once he's here, we'll get whatever it is we need for him. We have basics.

I'm 27 weeks and all I have is some diapers and a glider. Of course we still have A's clothes she can use. I've been horrible at keeping up the journal, I never take bump photos on the right day and I sometimes forget how far along I am. We need to buy furniture, paint etc still. With A this was mostly done by now. I think I just learned babies really don't need much so no need to go overboard :)

I'm 28 weeks and haven't looked at anything. She will just sleep in our room for the first few months and then we'll figure out where to put her. I've bought one pair of pants (on sale for $3) and a girl version of a necklace I own. We are reusing most of the gear from LO #1. I am counting on gifted clothes and gift cards from friends and family since she'll be the first girl born in a long time. We will need a new crib and a double stroller but ugh so lazy.

Not much- more so planning the toddler room since we aren't changing the nursery at all. We have enough clothes and supplies, so I'm not really worrying about it.

I'm driving my MIL crazy since she wants to buy things for the baby, but we are pretty well set. I'm slowly coming up with a list for her, but it isn't much- new hooded towels, rock n' play, stroller skateboard attachment.

The only biggish thing we need is a dresser for C, we've gotten his toddler bed ready, although we aren't planning on using it right away (pack n' play in our room for the newborn at first).

Not pregnant again although we are TTC, but I can't imagine that I will do as much prep for #2 just because some of it will carry over from last time (no searching for a hospital and doing the tour and such because I liked the one we used last time and will just go back there, already have my midwife so no need for that research either, many of the baby items can be re-used, etc.) and partially because there were some things I did last time that ended up being totally unnecessary, like my birth plan that never left the suitcase. I also still have room and photo ideas left over from last time since I couldn't use everything I liked.

The one thing that will be different this time around is doing a ton of research to decide if I'm going to try for a vbac or not. Although, like the birth plan last time, that could end up not being necessary if like last time LO makes that decision for me - but hopefully that won't be the case!

I'm 17 weeks and I haven't even looked at baby things yet. I haven't made any plans, haven't been interested in looking online at cute baby clothes, room ideas, photography...nothing. With #1 I had been looking things up all the time from the positive pegnancy test until she was here...(and after). I'm excited but I think I've realized that the baby doesn't really need much so I don't plan on spending much money this time around.
