I never figured out how to do those things while sleeping. As a result I wanted to punch anyone that told me to nap while the baby naps. It was just really hard to during the day because I would usually have barely enough time to brush my teeth and eat something before he woke up. I would go to bed super early in the beginning tho. When I went back to work when he was 3.5 months, I only worked half days and pretty much took an afternoon nap with him almost daily. It was great! I've just never been a good napper. It's hard for me to fall asleep and baby probably would have woken up by the time I got into a deep sleep. It was hard for me--I don't nap well! I would usually do laundry/clean/cook in the evening when DH got home. We also had enough bottles so I didn't have to sterilize them asap. Let's be honest, I often just rinsed them, haha. But after she was sleeping more (and was content to lay in her crib and watch her mobile....about 2 months old), i could turn that thing so many times, i'd often get 30 minutes to clean and start dinner, etc, while she entertained herself and babbled to her animals.</p> <p>like @grizz said, half the time i'm laying there, i'm counting down the unpredictable minutes until she actually wakes up. And sometimes, as soon as I'd bob off, she'd wake up.
