We dropped daytime feeds first because I couldn't pump at work anymore. Then we dropped the overnight feeds a month or so later. She dropped her bedtime feeding around 14 months and her wakeup feeding at 21 months.

Night! I knew she would probably try and make up feelings at night if I dropped day times first. It went better than expected even though she's a total boobaholic. We're down to 3x/day at almost 16 mo.

At 19 months we night weaned (against their will basically, in an attempt to get them to sleep at night). They still nurse all day long (and even moreso now that we night weaned), but I don't mind that because I stay home and nursing them is relaxing for all 3 of us. I just wanted more sleep so we cut the night sessions (hoping they would STTN which they do not).

My LO just turned 1. She nurses a lot - 2-3x a night and 2-3x a day (before each nap). I can't decide if I should try going longer during the day or dropping at night. It's such a PITA fighting with her at night though.. Gah!
