Carbs &amp; protein are your friend. Carbs for energy &amp; protein to ward off pre-e (which can come on during labor).</p> <p>I ate a pb sandwich early on &amp; then a couple boiled eggs around 5 cm. My OB, although she was fine with that, warned me that during labor, "you wear what you eat," and suggested I stick to strictly low fat foods - bananas, etc.</p> <p>Did you eat and drink during labor? What kind of things tasted good? If you ate, did you end up "wearing it?" </p>
