I was given some hospital food but couldnt really eat because I was so worried and then by the time I started feeling hungry they said "no food or drink after midnight" and I was like "WHAT?" I ate small amounts of food b/c I knew I had to -- mostly goldfish crackers and cliff bars. LO was born via csection at 9:05pm and then I was in recovery for a few hours and didn't get into our room until a little past midnight...and even then I wasn't hungry. I was allowed clear liquids in the hospital though. That totally shocked my mom. I ate a few lemon Luna bars on the way to the hospital since I hadn't been hungry for lunch, but knew that I needed some energy just in case I wasn't allowed to eat at the hospital. An hour later I threw up and threw up, etc... </p> <p>Things went much faster than we expected. I also brought a few snacks just in case things went long- but we forgot them in the car. </p> <p>We were admitted at 4pm, and my poor husband didn't get to eat until midnight when he brought In'N Out Burger after our son arrived and we got moved to our room- third best burger I have ever had!
