Never heard of a listeria outbreak at whole foods salad bar, but have with bagged lettuce we buy at the grocery store that no one cautions against. I don't avoid foods on the slim chance I "may" get sick. I used to work in a restaurant with a salad bar and ate every day. Never had E. coli in my life. Some salads bars look fine and clean so I didn't worry about those.
